From Formula E to tennis: what a show in Rome!

If the city of Rome has been waiting in vain for the arrival of the Formula 1 for years, it has instead become the ideal place to host the Formula E cars.

The landscape is the one of the Eur district in the capital, where a track with challenging curves and awesome straights has been designed. On the stands, a welcoming and competent audience, that can finally fill them up to their maximum capacity. The city track is the longest in the championship with its 3385 km. The winner was Mitch Evans with a Jaguar, second place for Robin Frijns and his Audi, third position for Stoffel Vandoorne on a Mercedes. Evans, who had already won in Rome in 2008, despite starting from the ninth place and thanks to an excellent race conduct, managed to get the better of all rivals.

After Formula E, Rome welcomed the tennis champions for the 79th edition of Internazionali BNL d’Italia, which has just ended: a handover that pushed several fans to attend both competition venues. To confirm that the passion for motorsport often goes hand in hand with that for rackets and balls. We are also among those enthusiasts and it is no coincidence that we have given life to Tennis on the Racetrack, Imola 2023.The invitation-only tournament, born from an idea of CC LAB Consultant Ltd and created by CC LAB Italia Srl  in association with Autodromo Enzo and Dino Ferrari of Imola, will be staged just in a year, after the Masters 1000 of the Capital.
