Tennis and motorsport: Nalbandian and the passion for racing

Did you know that tennis players and motorsport have always had a very close bond? Here is an example. The Argentinian David Nalbandian, world number 3 in 2006 behind the phenomena Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal, already tried his hand at rally, his extra-racket passion, when he still played in the circuit.

But today, after retiring from tennis, his passion is becoming something more, to such an extent that he is competing in official events of a certain prestige, such as the Argentinian Championship. “I don’t have the ambition to become a pro – he said – but I keep having fun and I feel no pressure. The goal is to continue learning from the best drivers and always do better”. This fun did not stop him even after facing a few accidents, some of which were very risky… We can bet that our David will be one of the first to attend Tennis on the Racetrack Imola 2023!

The event born from an idea of CC LAB Consultant Ltd, in synergy with CC LAB Italia Srl and Autodromo Internazionale Enzo and Dino Ferrari will certainly be able to attract prestigious characters from two different worlds, but bonded by an invisible thread that tastes of ambition, courage and desire to overcome one’s limits.
